Please read these terms and conditions carefully and in their entirety, as using, accessing and/or browsing the site constitutes you acknowledge and agree that you have read and understand these terms and conditions, agree that they are fair and reasonable and accept these terms and conditions voluntarily and in their entirety. This Terms of Use Agreement is entered into by and between ‘’you’’ the user of this website and ‘’Vilma Putt, Laleo Counselling and Coaching’’ the Owner and Author.

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State or location.

For best practice, at any point of your counselling or coaching Vilma at Laloe Counselling and Coaching feels she is unable to assist you or you need other additional support, Vilma will let you know and suggest alternative means for you to get the support that you need. This may occur due to more complex mental health issues or in a situation that requires more immediate or accessible support. Your safety and wellbeing are at the centre of any decision made regarding your care.

GOVERNING LAW, CONSENT TO JURISDICTION AND LIMITATION ON CLAIMS
This Agreement and your use of the Site, along with the Information contained therein, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Queensland without regard to conflict of laws principles, and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of courts in the State of Queensland. Social Media Policies
Facebook & Friend Requests
Please note, the Owner and Author does have a personal Facebook page, which the Author likes to keep separate with photos of her family and personal friends. As a rule, the Author does not accept current or future clients as friends on her personal Facebook page, as the Author feels it can blur the boundaries of the therapeutic Counsellor Client relationship. The issue of privacy and the possibility of compromising your confidentiality is something the Author takes seriously.
The link attached to the Author’s web site or social media platform is for the Author’s professional practice. You will find Instagram updates and information on upcoming events. You are invited and welcomed to Like the Instagram and Facebook pages where you can read and share articles/postings.
If you would like to post feedback regarding private sessions, or groups please be mindful that you may be sharing personal information and as Best Practice, this will be monitored for your privacy and the privacy of others.
POSTING GUIDELINES
This is a moderated forum and Site, comments to individual posts are encouraged, please be aware comments are reviewed before they are posted.
Respectful comments that contribute to the topic at hand will generally be accepted. If the comment is not respectful or that does not contribute to the topic at hand the Author reserves the sole right to delete any comment for any reason, at any time without notice .
Persons or comments that receive a certain number of flags are automatically deleted.

Laleo Counselling and Coaching is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, or other means, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy policy statement. Laleo Counselling and Coaching may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 2021.
Online Zoom Sessions
For appointments via Zoom, please go ahead and download the Zoom app on your device prior to the session. If you have not used Zoom before, it is suggested you familiarise yourself with the app so you are a little comfortable before starting the session. Please see Zooms help and support if needed.
Please perform a speaker and microphone test as you join the session to ensure audio is working.
Please ensure that you are in a place that is safe as it is important for you to be open and honest during our session. Please dress appropriately, as you would for an in person session.
Technical Difficulties
If you have problems accessing the link prior to your session, please see confirmation email for technical support. Please note this is a technical support contact only.
There may be issues with the technology from time to time, that it is ok and it happens, please understand that every effort will be taken to avoid this. Please try logging back into the room if you get ‘kicked off’. If Vilma is ‘kicked off’ please remain in the room until connection is re-established. Technology can be tricky and unpredictable, together we can work out a way around it as best as we can at the time.
Confidentiality
All Counselling and Coaching sessions are recorded for future reference and along with any personal information gathered during Counselling and Coaching sessions will remain confidential and secure except where:
– it is subpoenaed by a court;
– a child or vulnerable person is at risk of harm; or
– you present a risk to yourself or someone else.
You will be notified if there is any cause for information to be shared outside of the counselling or coaching session.
Agreeing to the Counselling and/or Coaching sessions is agreeing to all Counselling and/or Coaching sessions being recorded. This is for the benefit of future refence to see how far one has come, for clarification purposes and for your safety and that of the Counsellor and Coach.
We may also collect the following information:
– name and job title
– contact information including email address
– demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests
– other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers.
What we do with the information we gather
We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:
Internal record keeping.
We may use the information to improve our products and services.
We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, text, fax or mail. We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests.
Please be aware for best practice, Clinical Supervision is part of any Counsellor’s PD (Personal Development) your case may be discussed as part of Professional Clinical Supervision. Only details that are relevant for supervision are discussed, without names or specifics where you can be identified. This is an important aspect of maintaining professional conduct within the therapy field and ensures the best attention provided to you.
Collection and Storage of Information
Laleo Counselling places a great importance on the security of all information associated with our customers and clients and others who deal with us. Your privacy is important to us. It is Laleo Counselling and Coaching’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across our website, www.laleo.com.au, and other sites we own and operate. We only ask for personal information when we truly need it to provide a service to you. We collect it by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent.
We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service. What data we store, we will protect within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.
We don’t share any personally identifying information publicly or with third-parties, except when required to by law. You are free to refuse our request for your personal information, with the understanding that we may be unable to provide you with some of your desired services.
We have security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of personal information under our control.
Session Recordings
Access to recordings is restricted to authorised personnel only and protected with Multi Factor Authentication.
All recordings are stored in Tier 1 Australian based data centres.
Recordings are encrypted with Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) with 256-bit keys while at rest and is Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 140-2 compliant.
Online Communication uses SSL/TLS connections. All SSL connections are established using 2048-bit keys.
Hard copy documentation and notes will be locked away when not in use.
10 Session Journey
For Best Practice, and best value for money, Vilma at Laleo Counselling and Coaching runs a 10 Session Journey as she has personally seen it to get the best results for all her clients.
There is no limit to the amount of 10 Session Journeys that can be purchased and booked. Each Journey has a 6-month expiry which starts on the day of purchase.
Single Counselling or Coaching sessions can be purchased at a rate of $200 per session provided an initial 10 session Journey has been completed.
Cooling Off Period
Please note there is a Cooling Off Period that starts as soon as the 10 Session Journey is purchased and ends at 5pm on the fifth business day after the purchase. For example, if the 10 Session Journey is purchased at 10am on Tuesday, the cooling off period will end at 5pm on Tuesday the following week. During this period the 10 Session Journey purchase may be cancelled in writing at anytime. Please see email provided in email booking confirmation.
Please be aware if any Counselling or Coaching Sessions have taken place within the Cooling Off Period, and the Cooling Off Period Cancellation has been requested in writing within the cooling off time frame, each session will be deducted from the initial purchase payment at a rate of $200 per session.
Cancellation fee
Please be aware, if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, allow at least 12 hours’ notice prior to your scheduled session via Acuity Booking App or Website to avoid losing the scheduled session in its entirety.
If Vilma Counsellor and Coach at Laleo Counselling and Coaching has to reschedule your scheduled session with less than 12 hours notice, you will be gifted with a free counselling or coaching session on top of your current 10 Session Journey and have six months to use your free gifted session once it has been added to your account.

Outside of Session Times
There may be times when the Author may come in contact with a client at the shopping centre, coffee shop or local venue. To maintain your privacy and confidentiality, the Author makes it a practice not to approach clients if the Author does see them. If you see the Author and want to say hello, by all means please do, the Autor will reciprocate. You are welcome to share with family and friends that the Author is your therapist, but this needs to come from you, not the Author. So please do not be offended if you see the Author and the Author does not approach you.
Contacting the Author
Please know and understand Vilma at Laleo Counselling and Coaching cannot always respond to all your messages or answer all your questions, Vilma at Laleo Counselling and Coaching cannot give specific advice or provide therapy on this website or social media platforms. A few reasons for this are boundaries, proper client care, best practice, ethical reasons, privacy, time factor and self-care.
If you would like support through Counselling Therapy or Coaching from Vilma at Laleo counselling and Coaching, the best way to do this is booking on the website www.laleo.com.au and booking app “Acuity” Down load via the apple or android app store.
Contacting you
In the event of a crisis or unexpected event, there may be the need for Vilma at Laleo Counselling and Coaching to make contact with you the client via a search engine, such as Google or Facebook. This is extremely rare and it is not a regular practice. However, if there is reason to suspect that you are in danger or have not turned up for an appointment and I cannot contact you by the normal means (email or telephone) it is my duty of care to ensure that you are safe.
Should this eventuate, your confidentiality will be respected, it will be well documented and naturally Vilma at Laleo Counselling and Coaching will discuss it with you at your next session.
